Curriculum Development/Alignment
Development and/or alignment of K-12 curriculum is not an easy task. We specialize in writing STEM lessons, units, modules, and assessments that are age appropriate, inquiry based, rigorous, and aligned to state and/or national standards. Whether it is horizontal alignment for a course or vertical alignment for a school or district, we have personnel with classroom experience. We have been there.
Evaluation
EAT, Inc. has been providing high quality evaluation for nearly 20 years so it is no surprise that one of our projects was reviewed by ABT Associates and were informed that the project evaluation met the MSP standards for using RIGOROUS RESEARCH methods. This is not the first time EAT, Inc. has been recognized for quality evaluation on projects, so we are not surprised. However we are always excited and feel honored to be able to assist this group in attaining the highest level of evaluation rigor possible.
Dr. Matsler has provided evaluation services for many projects and can help you as you develop an evaluation plan for a proposed project. Evaluation is key to funding and continued growth, reflection on making changes to be more effective, and celebrating successes. We enjoy taking on the smaller projects because it allows us to develop better relationships with the project investigators and leaders. As a member of the American Evaluation Association, we follow the rules, standards, and expectations of the organization.

Professional Development
EAT, Inc. provides professional development for teachers in grades K-12 interested in deepening their understanding of STEM. We are certified by the Texas Education Agency as a professional development provider and can provide CPE units for teacher certification.
Professional development possibilities are endless because we have staff in all STEM K-12 areas who have lifetime experiences, national and international exposure, and have received recognition for their dedication to ensuring that teachers do not waste their time in PD, but they are engaged, learning, and excited about learning new ideas for their classroom. We base our services on best classroom practices and research. We do not have "canned" PD sessions, but instead identify what your campus or district needs and then plan accordingly.
