EAT, Inc. partnered with ESC 11 and the Texas Regional Collaborative on December 9-11, 2014. The focus was on macromolecules and using inquiry. The lab activities focused content on DNA extraction, respiration, and cell processes. As one participant commented, “I learned how to take labs we do all the time and make them more inquiry based so the students are being critical thinkers and are more engaged.”
